Housing Resources

Texas State Affordable Housing (TSAHC)
TSAHC provides access to fixed-rate mortgage financing, down payment assistance grants
and mortgage tax credits for homebuyers. TSAHC also supports services proven to help families overcome financial hardship and stay in their
homes.


The Housing Authority of the City of Austin
Apply for public housing, learn about the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program and find other
housing resources here.

Austin’s Tenant Council
ATC programs focus on housing discrimination, tenant-landlord education and information, and housing repair and rehabilitation. ATC also provides helpful resources to assist you in finding affordable housing that is tailored to your income and neighborhood.

This web application estimates rents for subsidized housing programs in Texas and provides a resource for exploring housing opportunities in the city you choose.
